MyCiti bus on the row

No more late to work, no more standing on a long queues and no more read this boring and annoying stickers on the minitaxi, “ Don’t hurry me if you are late I’m on time’. The long awaiting integrated Rapid Transit (IRT) has launched their service to Captonians.
MyCiti offers commuters a suitable, steadfast and affordable means of public transport mostly to those travelling to Tableview and Parklands.
Now I understand the anger of minitaxi drives and owners when the system was implemented during the Fifa 2010 Soccer World Cup.
I am happy to say that what the city offer to those of us using public transport is freedom from the hands of “drunk and drive” minitaxi drivers. I use it this morning so I can tell you from the experience that is faster and comfortable.
The only issue that I have about MyCiti bus rapid transport is it has too many bus stations and stops when coming from Tableview to Civic Centre station in Cape Town.
The MyCiti bus routes include the following areas at the moment:
T1 Table View- Civic Centre
F14 Big Bay- Table View- Parklands East
F15 Parklands East- Table View- Blouberg Sands
F16 Marine Circle- Table View- Blouberg Sands
R27/ West Coast Rd
F1 Gardens- Civic Centre
Airport- Civic Centre
Apart from, what a fantastic and simple way to provide a standard public transport system to solve traffic congestion in most of South African roads.
