Test-Drive my second Degree

In the beginning of the year if someone tells me what the out of this year would be I would be definitely quote the person wrong. But in a month’s time I would add second rank to myself (BTech Degree in Public Relations Management). Just like people would want to test-drive a new car they want to buy, and so, I am trying to test-drive this degree.

Come January or February 2012, the degree would be conferred at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology[cput.ac.za] Multi-Purpose Hall, Cape Town campus.

Best of luck to all PRMBTech students 2011 and to all who contributed to making this happened @ Dennis Igboanugo @ Marian Pike @ Prof. Nirvana Bechan @ Mrs Deidre Porthen @ Vernon Chalmers @ Dr. Stuart Warden and Prof. Shaun Pather @ Blessing Makwabani.

Malema's sugar daddy

ALL DRESSED UP:  Julius Malema, Lerato Zah Moloi and partner Collen Mashawana, and Lizelle Tabane, who is rumoured to be Malema’s significant other in Mauritius. (The Sowetan)

Johannesburg - The same mogul who took Julius Malema to Mauritius paid money into his family trust.
The tycoon who took ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema along on his wedding junket to Mauritius also deposited piles of cash into Malema’s trust fund.

City Press can reveal that property mogul David Mabilu’s Vharanani Properties has on more than one occasion paid amounts exceeding R100 000 into the account of the Ratanang Family Trust, named after Malema’s son.

In July City Press revealed the existence of the trust and quoted a Limpopo businessman who claimed to have paid money into the trust as a reward for Malema assisting him in winning a government tender.

Daniel Craig growing beard for Bond

London - Daniel Craig is growing a beard for the new James Bond film.
The actor is reprising his role as 007 for a third time in upcoming instalment Skyfall - due for release in 2012 - and the usually suave spy will sport an unshaven look for the first time.
Bosses are also reportedly scaling back production costs on the movie - which had been delayed because of studio MGM's financial problems.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They've really scaled back. The lavish production and locations have been cut. There is only a reduced cast and crew travelling to the few overseas destinations. There won't be as much hand-to-hand fighting, it's gone back to blowing stuff up - including London's Vauxhall Bridge."
